When a cardiac arrest happens, the fact is that only half of the victims need a shock. The other half require CPR. The ZOLL Pocket CPR is a CPR rescue device that provides audible and visual instructions before and during rescue.
Pocket CPR utilizes AHA-ILCOR recommended chain-of-survival instructions. When it's turned on to full operation mode, the device reminds the user of the sequence to follow in a real rescue beginning with calling for help. Once placed on the chest and compressions have begun, Pocket CPR generates a metronome at the AHA recommended rate of chest compression, gives verbal and visual feedback on the quality of CPR being delivered and reminds the user to give two breaths every 30 compressions.
