An essential model for demonstrating the techniques required for the hand expression of breast milk. Demonstrates the two distinct actions during breast feeding: the oxytocin reflex (milk ejection) and the compression of the lactiferous sinuses. The model is made of soft foam and is realistic in shape, texture, proportion, and warm to the touch. Incorporates four milk reservoirs and mimics the 15 to 20 lactiferous sinuses of the normal breast. Model can be presented freestanding or held against the body. Includes one hand expression breast model and one bottle of simulated breast milk. Overall dimensions: 53" x 41" x 45".
